Candy Crush Soda Saga Updated with 15 Extra Levels!

Candy Crush Soda Saga hasn’t been suffering from a lack of fans, but the game relies heavily on content updates for its success – which is why it’s good to see that the developers behind it realize this concept fully, and are on board with it completely. The game receives regular additions to its content pool, and the most recent update just came out a few days ago, adding 15 new levels and an all new game mode.

The update is now available for the Android and iOS versions of the game, bringing the total number of levels up to 180. The game hasn’t been out for too long, so these levels should be more than enough to keep fans entertained for some time – according to reports, most haven’t even been able to beat the original levels yet.

Additionally, the new update introduces the “Bubble Gum” mode, which according to developers will be even more annoying than the more difficult of the original levels. It seems that King are trying to increase players’ reliance on support from others, and the first game certainly became popular for this feature alone, so it makes sense that they would want to make even more use of it.

This can be seen in a special tab in the game which allows players to ask for help, but only from others who play “Candy Crush Soda Saga” – the original game isn’t eligible in this. This can be seen as an incentive for players to nag their friends to upgrade to the latest version, and King certainly seem to be trying very hard to make their players move over to the latest installment, releasing new updates for it regularly while also promoting it quite heavily through marketing.

The game has been enjoying a lot of success since its release, and it’s managed to improve the formula of the original title quite successfully, adding subtle but powerful gameplay changes which have expanded the possibilities for level design even further. This can be seen in the new design philosophy for the game’s levels, which are becoming more and more unusual, not to mention difficult to beat. Of course, difficulty has been one of the main defining features of the franchise, so it makes perfect sense that the developers would want to capitalize on that as much as possible.

It’s likely that even more updates for “Candy Crush Soda Saga” will be released in the future, and King are expected to provide ongoing support for the game for quite some time. Those who have already managed to beat all 180 levels should probably take a break while waiting for the next update to roll around.
