Candy Crush Saga Finally Launched For Windows OS, Users Notice Issues with Every Update!

Windows users have suffered a lot looking at their Android and iOS using friends enjoying the popular candy match game. Now these users can finally enjoy it on their devices. Candy Crush Saga, King’s popular mobile game has finally been launched on the Windows Phone Operating System platform. After a huge delay, much to the chagrin of Windows users, it is finally available.

Around two years ago, it was initially launched for the Android and iOS users. Presently, Candy Crush Saga, like Clash of Clans is one of the most popular games designed for the mobile platform worldwide. The addition of a new platform means a whole lot of fresh audience along with a humongous user base. The game is available for free on Windows Phone devices running on the 8.1 OS version.

Like most games today, there are several in-app purchases that offer a lot of minor advantages inside the game. However, be confident that you can easily survive without all of these purchases. Candy Crush Saga is a game involving a candy-matching feature where players need to empty all candies through swapping positions of two adjacent candies.

This is done in order to match at least three colors in the same line. The Windows Phone version of the game is similar to the ones launched for the Android and Apple operating system. Like most games, there are many levels, and as you progress through the initial levels, the game gets tougher. In the Candy Crush Saga designed for the Windows Phone, there are 50 primary levels along with the critically celebrated Dreamworld Expansion, also available on Android and iOS. Sebastian Knutsson, CEO of Kind declared that the developers keep adding new levels to the game every week.

As a result, it seems like Windows players will be entertained on a daily basis. Like many other games, King first tested this app out on Facebook and then launched it as a stand-alone title for mobile devices since 2012. Within a short span of time, Candy Crush Saga became a great hit and exceedingly popular among smartphone users in the world.

Microsoft seems to be struggling with its Windows Phone platform, and the inclusion of Candy Crush Saga shows its initiative to welcome as many third-party developers and game studios possible. However, it is clear that Windows Phone is growing in popularity and slowly becoming a match to its Android and iOS rivals. You can download this game for free from the Windows Phone Store.

In other news, King keeps updating Candy Crush Saga but with every update, users are noticing difficulties and issues introduced with it. It was updated on 4th December for the Android OS and more recently on 10th December for Apple users.
