Corolla is one of the better known names in the automobile industry, and for a good reason – Toyota have made sure that the line is associated with durability, high performance and well-balanced pricing. However, the 2015 model may leave fans wanting a little more for their money, and interested buyers should make sure to carefully read reviews and public opinions before jumping to this purchase.
There are definitely various improvements in the 2015 model that are worth noting, and the car is obviously not a downgrade as a whole. The driving experience has been made more streamlined and simplified, and Toyota have finally decided to implement a push-button ignition system. The interior of the vehicle has seen some noticeable improvements, particularly in the comfort department, and the Corolla will now feel much more pleasant to drive even for longer durations.
On the outside, the vehicle has seen an improved suspension and better chassis, which should make for an overall more comfortable driving experience, especially when the car is taken on a bumpy ride. Of course, this is no offroad vehicle, and owners shouldn’t expect miracles when it comes to its performance on more challenging roads.
The price for the 2015 Toyota Corolla is quite reasonable as well, starting at $17,500 (which includes the destination charge). This seems to be an acceptable price tag for a car with the features that the new Corolla offers, and those who’re looking for a relatively cheap car that still has a good set of features should definitely take a look at the new Corolla.
From the point of view of old-time fans of the line though, there is a slight problem – Toyota have been somewhat reluctant to innovate, and this is starting to become painfully obvious. While the new model does offer some improvements and makes use of modern technology more extensively than the previous entries in the Corolla line, it still leaves a bit to be desired when you compare it to other contemporary models.
Of course, the Corolla is not exactly a powerhouse model that’s supposed to be packed full of features and include every possible technological advancement that has come out recently, and for the asking price, buyers could hardly ask for more. Still, some have been expressing a desire to see more experimentation from Toyota, particularly in terms of the car’s navigation systems and other electronic components. There are various improvements in this field that Toyota aren’t making full use of yet, at least not in the Corolla line, so it would be good to see the company deciding to try out some new technological features for next year’s model, even if it means raising the price a little.
