The mission shines because of its simplicity. It involves a quick and quiet breach into a ship combined with radio chatter and a slow, methodical pace which gamers no longer see in the more recent entries in the video game franchise.
The video clip also showed that modern technology has done wonders to the game. Captain Price’s cigar looks better than ever, and the lighting effects both inside the team’s helicopter and on the wet surface of the ship’s deck are remarkable.
Walls and railings seem to be missing the level of detail in games like “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” and “Call of Duty: Black Ops 3” but it’s something gamers will only really notice if they put their soldier’s face right up against a wall.
“Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” was a shoo-in in the series for the remaster treatment, with several famous campaign levels and multiplayer maps but if it proves to be quite successful, they should expect Activision to have a follow-up soon among the other “Call of Duty” games in the franchise.
There are reports saying that “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2” shall soon have the Deer Hunter-inspired Russian Roulette sequence which would surely delight gamers all the more.
