‘Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’ to Feature Six Basic Player Classes Called Combat Rigs!

Critics note that the multiplayer mode in “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” does largely feel the same as in the previous “Call of Duty” games but it is more customizable, and a gameplay style-focused version of its predecessors.

“Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” introduces outer space as its setting with new gameplay mechanics such as zero-gravity environments.

Players will take on the playable character of Captain Nick Reyes, a Tier 1 Special Operations pilot. Players will engage in aerial battles with enemies using the transforming fighter, called the Jackal.

The developer says that space combat is one of the game’s key focuses, and the transition between space combat and boots-on-the-ground combat in the game has been described by critics as seamless.

Players gain access to Retribution, a central hub world, where they can start main campaign missions, secondary quests which grant them new items and story details, and launch raids on hostile ships.

The game also features a cooperative multiplayer Zombies mode, which has its own gameplay mechanics and story, separate from the campaign.

The mode is designed to be more accessible to new players, with new features such as sharing points and teambuy doors, as well as keeping the core gameplay of the mode intact, such as perks and power-ups.
