Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Update Released For PS3, PS4!

If you have been playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at all in the last few weeks, then the odds are good that you noticed the news about a new update coming to those that are playing on the PS3 and PS4. That update, according to Sony, has been in the testing stages for the last week or two right now and there are new reports that indicate the update is ready to download to your system. If you take a look at the update log, it appears to be a major one.

The update has been talked about for a little more than a month now and it was supposed to be released this week and provide some fixes for well known bugs in the game. The software download will include in game updates, weapon balancing updates, security and anti-cheat updates, updates to the user interface, challenge updates, clan updates, store updates, emblem updates, scorestreak updates, broadcaster user interface updates, ranked play updates, game mode specific updates, updates to the maps, Exo survival updates and single player/campaign updates.

Just like all of the other Call of Duty games that have been released, Advanced Warfare is just as popular and that could be the reason for the large number of updates from Sony. The game is being played by millions of people from all over the world and every single aspect of the game is being watched very closely. Getting updates like this is important and will effect how the game is played by those millions of fans.

The update has been rolling out and even though some of the players have been complaining about some of the changes, the majority seem to be happy with the results of the software patch. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is also in the new over in the United Kingdom as it takes the top spot on the video game charts.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has beat some very good competition to take the top spot and that includes Grand Theft Auto V, FIFA 2015 and even Minecraft Xbox Edition. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare saw a sales increase of 27 percent and that made it the only top 10 game that saw an increase that large. Other games like Saints Row IV and FIFA 2015 actually saw a decrease in sales amounting to 38 percent and 5 percent, respectively. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare saw a couple of DLC patches hit the game recently and that might have contributed to the increase in sales, according to one source.
