Call of Duty 2016: What Gameplay Changes Would Fans Like to See and Which Part of the Franchise Will Be Continued?

Those same people went on to develop “Titanfall” which was obviously inspired by “Call of Duty” in various regards, and it’s interesting to note that the “CoD” franchise quickly adopted some of the more interesting gameplay additions introduced in the former game.

The most notable one was the ability to fly around in jetpacks and run on walls, something which many players enjoyed to a great extent and saw as a great addition to the fast-paced gameplay.

Others didn’t enjoy the change that much, claiming that the game had become too fast-paced for its own good, and the huge verticality of most maps made them confusing for certain players as well. When “Black Ops 3” came out, it seemed to address most of those issues in relatively successful ways, though the game still left some things to be desired.

If Infinity Ward somehow manage to put together a fast-paced shooter with enough new gadgets and weapons, adopt the bright and colorful maps style of “Black Ops 3” and released the game with some important elements such as dedicated servers, it could definitely work well and help them rebuild their name. But for many players, this is the last chance for the studio to earn back its trust – if “Call of Duty 2016” fails to impress, we wouldn’t be surprised if Infinity Ward became a thing of the past by 2017. A sad end to a studio that once had a lot of potential, but this is the way the industry goes.
