“Boom Beach” is one of the more successful mobile games, and the title has been gaining more and more popularity over time, partly due to viral marketing, and partly due to the developers’ active work on it. They have certainly been putting quite a lot of effort into making sure that the game stays fresh with new content, and they have just released a brand new update that adds various new gameplay features to “Boom Beach”, including enemies and weapons.
Some of these were already hinted before on the game’s Facebook page, as Supercell have been quite active in their social media marketing, making sure that their players are always up to date with the latest developments on the title. However, while they have been teasing about this update for some time now, they never revealed when they were planning to release it.
That’s irrelevant now that the patch is out though, and all players should be able to download it and enjoy the new content. Players will have to fend off a new enemy type, called Colonel Gearheart, as well as Hammerman. The gameplay has been expanded with new daily challenges as well, available for a limited time between 6am to 3am the next day.
Players can also see the VP reward at the beginning of the daily challenge, although the system hasn’t changed much as a whole. New enemies aren’t all that players will get to play around with in this update though – there are also new weapon types that they can use to defend themselves and experiment with, exploring new playing strategies.
When a player has reached HQ 15, they can use the weapon lab Prototype, obtaining a Gunboat that is quite effective against enemies. New operations have been added as well, and most of them are pretty challenging and should be interesting to all players, old and new alike. More experienced players should definitely enjoy the new operations better though, and there are also land and sea turtles spread around the place.
Players might also notice better graphics, as Supercell have been keeping the title in touch with modern trends and they’ve been improving the game’s graphics with each update. This one is particularly noticeable when it comes to visual improvements, and we can’t wait to see how much more they can get out of the game’s graphics.
Some operations have been simplified as well, as players can now change their names and relocate their bases more easily and without having to go through the complicated interface options that they had before. There is still some room for improvement but the situation is definitely better than what it used to be.
