‘Blindspot’ Season 2 to Tone Down on Violence to Accommodate New Schedule

Gero also teases fans that the first few episodes of Season 2 might see Jane and Sullivan Stapleton’s Kurt at odds with one another especially after the arrest scene in the season 1 finale.

Hopefully, Panjabi, who will play as the head of the secret division of NSA will get everyone, including Jane and Kurt, back on track.

Gero added that there will also be more mysteries to be laid down in the second season. These mysteries are linked to the questions from Season 1 and will open more questions if the show will head to Season 3.

The executive producer jests that the upcoming season will also lean into a sense of government mistrust, while it explains Season 1 mysteries such as what Orion really is, who is Shepherd, and what are the plans of the organization.

Shepherd, the mysterious leader of the group that sent Jane to infiltrate the FBI in the first place, was never seen. This season, rumors say that fans will know the person behind the faceless Shepherd.

The first season initially had 22 episodes but production added one more episode to wholly conclude the season. It is still unknown whether the second season will include 22 or 23 episodes.
