“Blindspot” is the most watched crime TV series on NBC. Reports have it that the second season of the show will return to the network in the fall with a new time slot and a new storyline.
There are also reports saying that operations Orion and Daylight will both return in Season 2 of “Blindspot.” The phrase ‘Orion is where you died’ heard by Jane and the tattoos on her body indicating information towards Daylight further complicate her past.
Executive producer Martin Gero confirmed that Daylight will be the bigger picture of the two as it questions the motives of those people who put Doe in such situation. But Weller is not going to put his trust on Doe anytime soon for sure.
Gero said that Jane’s real name, her backstory, and her history with the mysterious organization will all be known by fans on the first episode of the upcoming second season.
He added that Season 2 will then shift the focus of the storyline to Jane’s former organization and discovering the identity of its mysterious leader known as the Shepherd.
“Blindspot” is expected to return to the small screen for its Season 2 in September and shall likely have the same number of episode order of 23 just like its pilot season.
