‘Blindspot’ Season 2 May See the Death of Shepherd or Roman in the Upcoming Fall Finale

The second season of the American crime drama TV series “Blindspot” on NBC heads into its fall finale on November 16 with its ninth episode and based on its teaser trailer, it looks like there will be a death of a character.

At first, the teaser hinted of the possible death of Jane Doe, played by Jaimie Alexander, after she betrayed Shepherd and her criminal organization called Sandstorm to the FBI.

It was shown that her brother Roman, played by Luke Mitchell, was pointing a gun at her with their mother Shepherd, played by Michelle Hurd, being heard in the background saying that it is time to say goodbye, details the International Business Times of UK.

Considering that she is the main protagonist of the TV series, it is unlikely for Jane to die and critics are almost one in saying that it would either be Shepherd or Roman who will die in the fall finale of “Blindspot.”

The upcoming ninth episode of “Blindspot” Season 2 is entitled “Why Let Cooler Pasture Deform” and it would see Jane tipping the members of the team of Kurt Weller, played by Sullivan Stapleton, in the FBI about Sandstorm’s plan to attack.

As expected, her betrayal of the criminal organization will be discovered by Roman, who appears to be not loyal at all to her as well and will thus inform Shepherd and the Sandstorm about it.

Dedicated her life to catching Sandstorm

Also in the trailer, Nas Kamal, played by Archie Panjabi, was quoted as saying to his team that she has been after Sandstorm for the past six years and the day that she might be waiting for has arrived. She also told them that after this day, everything changes.

The trailer also showed Jane strapped to a chair with his supposed brother Roman, pointing a gun at her, which means that she was caught and is about to pay for betraying Shepherd and Sandstorm.

Meanwhile, it seems that the FBI team had doubts about their mission with Weller wanting to abort it and with Patterson later relating hysterically that Sandstorm also knew that they were coming, notes Game & Guide.

The upcoming episode of “Blindspot” Season 2 will finally reveal one of the biggest mysteries of the series, which is the identity of the enemy’s mole within FBI.

Some believe that the mole could be the therapist Dr. Borden. He basically is everyone’s therapist and could have access to information within the FBI

However, there are fans who believe that Dr. Borden is too obvious to be the mole. For them, the mole has to have first-hand access to sensitive information, and in these parameters, two names are being presented for consideration – Tasha Zapata, played by Audrey Esparza, or Nas. But the question will finally be answered when episode 9 of “Blindspot” Season 2 airs on NBC.

New character joining the show

The trailer also showed Patterson, played by Ashley Johnson, saying to her team that the enemy seems aware that they were coming.

Jane’s brother, Roman, shall also be in hot water in the upcoming ninth episode of “Blindspot” Season 2.

There are also reports saying that a new character shall be joining the show for its next episodes. Apparently, the show has opened up an audition to cast a twenty-something female to play the role of Niki, who shall be the on-again-off-again girlfriend of Freddy, the friend of Edgar Reade, played by Rob Brown.

Reade’s life is about to be turned upside down with the arrival of Niki as he will have a messy fling with her while asking for the whereabouts of her boyfriend. However, the character Niki will only be appearing on episode 13 of “Blindspot” Season 2.
