‘Blindspot’ Season 2 Episode 8 to Feature Jane and Kurt Weller Disappearing During an Undercover Mission

The eighth episode of the Season 2 of the American crime drama TV series “Blindspot” would be airing on NBC on November 2.

Based on the episode synopsis, FBI Agent Kurt Weller, played by Sullivan Stapleton, and Jane, played by Jaimie Alexander, shall go on an undercover mission. They will eventually go missing shortly after.

That leaves the rest of the team with no other choice but to interrogate two criminals who may know where to find Kurt and Jane, reports the International Business Times.

But based on the teaser trailer for the upcoming eighth episode of “Blindspot” Season 2, Jane shall ultimately return to the FBI while Kurt Weller remains missing.

The prosecutor is back

The upcoming eighth episode shall see the return of Assistant US Attorney Matthew Weitz, played by Aaron Abrams, who was once the boyfriend of Tasha Zapata, played by Audrey Esparza.

Fortunately, NSA Agent Nas Kamal, played by Archie Punjabi, Kurt’s new lover, has an idea to get him back. But it’s not pretty and certainly not legal. Still, the team is a family and they will do whatever they can to get Weller back.

Notwithstanding the fact that Sandstorm has been watching Weller for almost 20 years and that he has heard Shepherd’s voice before, it could be that a Sandstorm operative kidnapped him.

Fans are hoping that the next episode of “Blindspot” Season 2 will also show the repercussions of Zapata stealing a knife from the evidence room. She assumed that the knife belonged to Reade, played by Rob Brown, but it was actually Freddy’s, who was the one who murdered Coach Jones.

A more dangerous situation

The upcoming eighth episode of “Blindspot” Season 2, entitled “Do Not Slack, The Featherweight Wins,” would see Kurt Weller and Jane getting into a more dangerous situation that fans have seen them over the course of the first and second seasons.

Critics believe that with the absence of the lead stars of the TV show, it is a chance for the supporting cast to shine, and at the same time, the possible return of a character who could spell danger in another way for many of these people.

The third episode of “Blindspot” Season 2 aired on September 28 on NBC and it showed Jane Doe making another tough choice.

Jane needed to pick a side between Kurt Weller and his team or her stepmother Shepherd, played by Michelle Hurd, and brother Roman, played by Luke Mitchell.

Also in episode 3, officially titled “Hero Fear Imminent Rot,” Jane helped Kurt stop a series of escalating bombings in New York City. But in doing so, Kurt pulled Jane out of her undercover work because he is afraid that she could get killed in the process.

Jane was also caught in a quagmire during the episode when her stepmother and brother ask her to prove to them that she is still one of them.

When she asked Shepherd what kind of test that she needs to pass just to prove her loyalty to them, her stepmother told her that she needs to assassinate someone. Subsequently, Roman gave Jane a gun which she will use supposedly to kill someone before telling her to do it.

Blindspot Season 2

As to who the character might be, it was eventually revealed in the third episode of “Blindspot” Season 2. It is also worth looking into the possibility of whether Jane would indeed kill someone in the episode or not.

But if she does not assassinate someone, she might suffer the consequences to be set by Shepherd and Roman.

In addition to the choice made by Jane Doe in the third episode of “Blindspot” Season 2, Ashley Johnson, who plays Patterson in the TV series, shall also be thrust into the center stage.
