As to whether her character is on the side of good or evil remains to be seen but fans are hoping that she is on the good side.
Consistent with the previous reports before the Season 2 of the show premiered on NBC on September 14, “Blindspot” indeed picked up three months after the events of the Season 1 finale.
A lot has happened during the first season of “Blindspot” including the death of Jane’s former boss Bethany Mayfair, played by Marianne Jean-Baptiste. It was actually Jane who accidentally killed her and she has to deal with the repercussions of her action.
Showrunner Martin Gero describes the Season 2 of “Blindspot” as basically a reset of the TV series which is the reason why they will be bringing in Punjabi.
The show creator explained during the Television Critics Association summer press tour that Taylor Shaw is now behind the TV series. He added that aside from the emotional fallout between Kurt Weller, viewers would find out all about Jane Doe in Season 2.
Gero said that they wanted to move into the story of the second season and they really want to reward the viewers who have been with the show right from the get-go last year.
