‘Blindspot’ Season 2 Episode 3 to See Jane Picking a Side Between Kurt and His Team or Her Stepmother and Brother

The third episode of Season 2 of the American crime drama TV series “Blindspot” would be airing on September 28 on NBC and based on the spoilers that have been making the rounds online since last week, Jane Doe, played by Jaimie Alexander, shall be making another tough choice.

Jane will have to pick a side between Kurt Weller, played by Sullivan Stapleton, and his team or her stepmother Shepherd, played by Michelle Hurd, and brother Roman, played by Luke Mitchell, reports the International Business Times.

Also in episode 3, officially titled “Hero Fear Imminent Rot,” Jane will help Kurt stop a series of escalating bombings in New York City. But in doing so, Kurt will pull Jane out of her undercover work because he is afraid that she could get killed in the process.

Jane will be caught in a quagmire when her stepmother and brother ask her to prove to them that she is still one of them.

When she asked Shepherd what kind of test that she needs to pass just to prove her loyalty to them, her stepmother told her that she needs to assassinate someone. Subsequently, Roman gave Jane a gun which she will use to kill someone before telling her to do it.

As to who the character Jane is tasked to kill, it would also be revealed in the upcoming third episode of “Blindspot” Season 2. It is also worth looking into the possibility of whether Jane would indeed kill someone in the episode or not.

But if she does not assassinate someone, she might suffer the consequences to be set by Shepherd and Roman.

Taking center stage

In addition to the choice to be made by Jane Doe in the upcoming third episode of “Blindspot” Season 2, Ashley Johnson, who plays Patterson in the TV series, shall also be thrust into the center stage.

In the second episode, Patterson proved how dedicated she is to Weller’s team as she not only helped Jane Doe with her new mission, she was also onboard with the team’s plan to reunite with the lead character.

Johnson’s role in “Blindspot” has also been noticed and recognized by fans of the TV series. In fact, one fan even posted on Twitter that Patterson is now becoming her team’s hero in Season 2.

The handler of the show’s Twitter account also acknowledged the keen observation of the fan by saying that Patterson is indeed the anchor of her team.

A family feud in the offing

There seems to be a brewing family feud as Jane’s truthfulness and her loyalty to Shepherd is now being questioned in “Blindspot” with the recent resurfacing of Cade, notes TV Line.

While Jane has been into some stressful situations in the past season, Shepherd further ups the ante in Season 2 by working on getting Jane back to being her old self.

On her first mission for Shepherd, she will have to do it with Roman whose intention is to help her get her groove back to her old self, indicating that Jane was previously a professional hitman too.

Jane also has to do what Shepherd orders her to do because Roman is also scared what her stepmother is capable of doing to his sister.

In a recent interview, Luke Mitchell said that his character wants Jane to come back and the more that does not happen, the more that time goes on, the more frustrating it becomes for Roman.

He said that Jane is Roman’s world essentially and she is the closest thing he has, so it really becomes frustrating for him to have her back but not have her back entirely. He is also disappointed that Jane does not remember, intentional or otherwise, the bond they created through the traumatic history they shared.

Meanwhile, Archie Panjabi of “The Good Wife” shall also be coming to the TV series to portray the role of Nas Kamal, the head of a National Security Agency (NSA) department who will help in fixing the team after the wild roller coaster ride during Season 1.
