For now though, the killing of David was a nicely balanced event that shouldn’t annoy people too much and which will probably have some additional implications for the plot later on. What those implications could be is difficult to tell, but we certainly wouldn’t be surprised if that death keeps coming up in the story occasionally in the future.
We actually hope that the writers are going to treat the character’s death in a serious way and won’t ignore that event in the future episodes, because otherwise this could have some harsh implications for the way the plot will run and what we can expect later on.
And as can be expected, the death of David immediately spawned various additional rumors about the current season and there have been talks of other characters possibly dying within the community, but those can probably be ignored for now.
It’s only natural to expect that fans will want to speculate on this topic after such a dramatic event, but it’s also important that those who feel more attached to the show don’t get too drawn into those discussions, as not much of what’s being said right now probably has any serious credibility. We’re going to find out for sure in a few months as the show continues.
