The girl’s drawings reveal a State Department diplomat, who was funding the terrorist group, sent the men in order to prevent her from identifying him. The diplomat was in turn arrested.
Audrey Esparza’s agent Zapata also explains her suspicions about Mayfair to Rob Brown’s Reade while Jane steals some data from the FBI on Oscar’s request.
Meanwhile, the NBC hit police series is set to air its first season finale on May 23. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Martin Gero shared some details on what viewers can expect on episode 23.
Gero says that the last couple of episodes will have a reveal that will turn the show completely upside down. He adds that the season finale is the first episode where there is not a single shot fired.
Movie News Guide suggests that the episode will be going to the emotional direction rather than the action that the FBI team is usually encountering.
Speculations say that the finale will end in major cliffhanger particularly regarding the real story behind Jane’s tattoos.
NBC has yet to release the synopsis for the season finale, entitled “Why Await Life’s End.” The penultimate episode, entitled “If Love A Rebel, Death Will Render,” will air on May 16.
