It remains to be seen what the new Venice could do though. Is it going to help reestablish BlackBerry’s position on the market as a solid smartphone company?
Or is it just going to drive home the idea that people aren’t interested in them? Both are equally possible, according to some experts, and much to the disappointment of BlackBerry’s own fans. Of course, many are hopeful that they’re going to see their favorite company prevail.
With the right combination of features, this could definitely become a well-selling device on the market and it could help the company regain some of their lost popularity.
And even if that happens with the help of another operating system, it’s still much better than if the company would go under completely. They still have other operations apart from their mobile phones, but that’s the one thing people know them for, and the market they should be trying hard to appeal to. If the Venice is successful, we might end up hearing about BlackBerry more often in the future, but if not, that could be the last nail in the coffin for the company, even though they still have their sales in certain markets.
