Mortal Kombat has been out on the video game market since 1992 and ever since then players have been in one-on-one battles with friends to see who can beat all of the characters and become the best at the game. The franchise is one of the oldest in video game history and soon there will be a tenth release to the video game series and that has been hanging around in the news for the last month or more. The new video game is expecting to make a lot of noise with fans starting next month.
There is already rumors and speculation what the news will be when it is revealed next month. According to one online source, gamers are about to see the addition of a new character in the game, a ninja to be specific. That source claims that new information from developers will be coming to the internet on the second of January. The last character addition was warlock Quan Chi, but since then, the developers have not been saying much more about the filling out the 24 fighter roster.
Up to this point, fans knew about he older characters like Sub-Zero, Kano and Raiden. The developers revealed that 10 more characters were to be added, with some of them being children to the more popular, famous characters from back in the day. The game is expected to start story lines for Goro, Cassie Cage, Kotal Khan, Ferra, Torr and D’Vorrah.
That is not quite the 24 that the developers promised fans of the game, so those interested have been waiting patiently to see the rest of the roster. According to one online source, one of those characters is going to be a ninja. According to GameMaster Magazine, the new character will be in the publication next month. The details surrounding that character will be outlined within that article and that is when players are going to learn all they need about it. The developers are doing the finishing touches on the character to it is ready for the big reveal according to Mortal Kombat X executive producer, Shaun Himmerick.
Characters have undergone a variety of changes over the years and now that technology has advanced so far to bring new graphics to the game, each of the new characters will be getting three modifications to keep the freshen players love for the game, while at the same time offering the chance to explore deeper into their favorite fighter. When Mortal Kombat X arrives, it will be available to play on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and the PC around the 15th of April next year.
