Those who have seen the successful animated flick “Big Hero 6” know that in addition to Hiro Hamada, the other big star of the movie is the robot Baymax.
It can also be recalled that although Hiro is an inventor, Baymax was not his invention but that of his brother Tadashi Hamada, and was primarily meant to be a health care provider.
Unfortunately, Tadashi died in “Big Hero 6” after an explosion during the science expo. But accordingly, he may have survived it as well just like Professor Callaghan, who turned out to be Yonkai, the main villain in the first film.
Based on speculations, just like Professor Callaghan in the first movie, Tadashi will still be alive and shall return as the villain Sunfire. In the comic books, Sunfire is an original member of Big Hero 6 and his superpower is his capacity to withstand excessive heat, notes the Christian Today.
Apparently, one of the many inventions in the science expo shall be able to save Tadashi and he will return as Sunfire. He also has the capability to shoot fire.
When he comes back, he will be battling it out with the Big Hero 6 led by Hiro and thus the brother versus brother conflict.
Since Tadashi was the one who invented Baymax, speculations are also rife that the robot might be initially confused on who between Hiro and Tadashi he will side with. However, when the robot sees the ill-intention of Tadashi as Sunfire, he will certainly come to his senses and stick with his five other colleagues in Big Hero 6.
Seeing the light side again
While Tadashi as Sunfire will serve as the new villain in “Big Hero 7,” he will not be the main villain because he will eventually find and see the light side again towards the middle of the film.
In fact, the reason why the title of the movie is “Big Hero 7” is because Tadashi will be the seventh and newest member. And when he joins the superhero group, they are bound to fight against the main villain in the movie, notes Movie News Guide.
Disney or Marvel has not yet made an official announcement or statement regarding the release date of “Big Hero 7” but based on the hints of Marvel comic book creator Stan Lee last year, the movie would hit cinemas after the release of “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” and before “Inhumans.”
“Big Hero 7” will likely have a playdate on theaters anytime from 2017 to 2019 if Marvel Studios will stick with its own hectic timeline and certainly loaded production schedules.
“Guardians of the Galaxy 2” already has a May 2017 playdate while the “Inhumans” is likely to get a playdate of 2019. Given these release dates, then it follows that “Big Hero 7” could come out in cinemas from June 2017 up to 2019.
Interestingly, “Big Hero 7” is not officially mentioned in the movie release date calendar made public by Disney or Marvel in October last year for all its films showing from 2016 to 2020.
But the entertainment conglomerate did mention of several untitled movies in its list, which means that “Big Hero 7” could be any one of those mystery movies. It is also possible that “Big Hero 7” may be one of the three mystery Marvel movies lined up for a 2020 release.
An upgraded Baymax
Another interesting rumor about the upcoming movie came from Bryan Alexander, the voice actor for the robot Baymax in “Big Hero 6.”
In a recent interview, Alexander said that fans should expect to see a new Baymax in the movie because Hiro is always looking to upgrade his creation.
But the improvements are always meant to make Baymax better. Alexander even jested in the same interview that Hiro has been teaching his Baymax character to laugh.
