Big Hero 7 Confirmed by Stan Lee, Will Feature Tadashi as Antagonist, Release Date Unknown, And More!

There hasn’t been much development on the front of “Big Hero 7”, other than the official confirmation that the film is currently being worked on. Exact details remain hidden from the public eye, and we expect that this will be the case for quite some time.

Stan Lee seemed reluctant to even confirm that the film is in production, so there is likely not much progress to report on in the first place. We don’t know the exact release date yet, and we don’t expect to hear about it for quite some time either. What we do know however, are various interesting plot details which paint the movie in an exciting light for fans of the original “Big Hero 6”.

Various changes are coming up for characters of the show, most notably for Tadashi, who will find himself in a new role. Reports claim that he will be brought back from the dead, although not in a good way – the new Tadashi will actually be the main villain of the film.

His resurrection will see him in a new, flaming form, and we expect that this change will affect other characters from the original team as well. It will be interesting to see Tadashi going up against the others, although we suspect that there might be a plot twist somewhere along the way that will bring him back to the good side.

Otherwise, it would probably be a bit too disappointing for fans of the original character to see him portrayed as the main villain throughout the whole film. This alone could potentially drag down the ratings of “Big Hero 7”, and the producers should keep in mind that film fans tend to be very sensitive to major changes like this.

But on the other hand, it’s not like this film is being produced by amateurs, so we’re confident that the people behind it know exactly what they’re getting into with these changes. That’s probably also why we haven’t been hearing too much about the film on the official front, as it’s very likely that the major plot details are still being sorted out behind the scenes and nothing is set in stone yet.

This could even include the story with Tadashi changing sides, so fans should expect everything they know about the film so far to change until it’s previewed in a more concrete way, like a trailer. That is probably a good time in the future at this point, so rumors are all we have to go by.

It’s probably safe to assume that “Big Hero 7” is still in an early stage of its production, so there won’t be any major announcements about the film anytime soon. The release date is one of the biggest questions on fans’ minds, and it’s probably reasonable to expect that the film won’t be ready for a 2017 release.

There has been far too little information released about it so far to make that possible, although who knows, maybe Disney can surprise us with an early release.

Big Hero 7

If we don’t hear anything about the release date by the end of this year though, then it’s probably safe to assume that the film won’t be ready in 2017. On the other hand, it’s still possible that we’ll get a trailer or at least a teaser at some point during the next year, so fans should keep their eyes and ears open.
