Beyonce has been in the news for the last ten years or more and for various things. First, it was the fact that she was getting away from the group that she was the lead singer for in order to start her very successful solo career. Then, she is in a high profile article about her marriage to Jay-Z forming one of the most powerful couples in the music industry. Shortly after that the first baby came a long and even though we all knew what to expect, it was a much bigger story than that.
These days, Beyonce is having fun being a mom, being fit and still making great singles for every one to sing along with in the car on the drive to work. Recently, she was on the popular Lip Sync Battles television show and many were wondering how she could have taken the time to appear there. For the most part, those that appear on the show are not Grammy winners, but actors that seem to have a thing for lip syncing the songs in front of a huge crowd.
There are many people that watch the show and some of the performances are very, very entertaining. LL Cool J is the host and it is a lot of fun to see how the participants put together a show that Milli Vanilli would be proud of. The story is a short one, but one of the funnest stars on Lip Sync Battle apparently sent her a video message asking her to be on the show.
That star was Channing Tatum and that message did not seem to be enough. In fact, the steps to get Beyonce on the show were started a few years ago already. Since the show began, Beyonce was made aware of the interest to have her come on and perform and most likely due to the fact that the most requested songs are from her records. According to the show, the songs that are performed are not chosen for the participants. They all choose their own and the most requested happen to come from Beyonce.
Because of the interest in her music, the show has been trying to get her on and has been in talks with her people each week. The rest is history as Beyonce showed up on stage without Channing knowing it until the last minute and that goes the same for his wife, who he was competing against that week. Channing dressed and danced just like her and only first met her when she appeared next time him on the stage. The story was a long wait, but the show exploded as it made the travels around social media like wildfire.
