According to reports, the older McGill might actually use against Jimmy the recorded and incriminating confession his little brother did regarding the alteration of the Mesa Verde files in Season 3 of “Better Call Saul” when it airs in February next year.
The piece of evidence in his hands would be more than enough to damage the reputation of his brother, who was tricked by Chuck into believing that he was just being a brother to him.
In a recent interview, actor Michael McKean said that his character in the TV series would not have second thoughts in making sure that his little brother’s life goes down the drain and that seems to be what Chuck intends to do in Season 3 of “Better Call Saul.”
The duplicity of Chuck has been manifested all through the series, said McKean. He also explained that the reason why Chuck has that notion against his brother because of the fact that his character made their mother proud but it was Jimmy who made her laugh.
Chuck is manipulating Jimmy through his seeming concern for him but in reality, he does not care at all for Jimmy.
According to reports, Jimmy would be facing a whole lot of problems and issues in Season 3 that was actually triggered by his brother Chuck and those could be his impetus to finally turn into Saul Goodman.
