It will not just be Jimmy McGill, played by Bob Odenkirk, who will be transforming into his darker self in Saul Goodman in the upcoming Season 3 of the American crime drama TV series “Better Call Saul.”
Latest reports have it that Kim Wexler, played by Rhea Seehorn, the girlfriend of Jimmy, will find herself being hounded by a moral dilemma as well and she will eventually yield to her dark side, reports the Christian Times.
Accordingly, Kim will be up to no good in Season 3 of “Better Call Saul” notwithstanding her propensity to cut corners and make bold and sly schemes just like Jimmy McGill does.
Kim shall be facing a moral quandary and may eventually yield to the dark side as she joins Jimmy who is all set to metamorphose into Saul Goodman.
In fact, there are reports that Kim and Jimmy might put up a business between them in Season 3 although no details have been revealed about the kind of business that they shall be engaging at.
No idea what’s in store for her character
But in a recent interview, Rhea Seehorn said that she has no idea what the writers of “Better Call Saul” have in store for Kim Wexler in Season 3.
She said that she is very excited for the third season of the popular TV series and shared that there is a lot of leeway with where the writers could go.
Seehorn added that she is confident that everything about Kim Wexler is now being put on the table so that the showrunners can decide on what direction to take the same way they did for the very successful and highly-acclaimed parent series “Breaking Bad.”
According to a report by the Ecumenical News, it would still take some time before Jimmy McGill makes the total transformation to the cunning Saul Goodman so it is likely that the metamorphosis of Kim might also be gradual.
Walter White in the show
There are reports saying that actor Bryan Cranston has expressed interest in joining “Better Call Saul.” But he would not be reprising her role as Walter White from the parent series “Breaking Bad.”
In an interview with “The Rich Eisen Show,” Cranston said that he will be willing to do what show creator Vince Gilligan and writer Peter Gould would want him to do in “Better Call Saul.”
He was quoted as saying that if they were to call him and say that they have an idea about something, he would not allow them to finish the pitch and he would just say that he is in and will just ask what they want him to do.
Eventually, Bryan Cranston did get a call from the “Better Call Saul” producers but he shall not be reprising his famous Walter White character but actually as director in one of the episodes of the show’s third season.
Cranston said that he is now carefully considering the directorial opportunity because he is such a big fan of “Better Call Saul.”
He also explained that directing an episode of “Better Call Saul” Season 3 would enable him to know in advance what would happen in the episode. Cranston said that would kind of kill the excitement and enthusiasm for him as a fan to be able to peek behind the curtain.
Jimmy McGill has yet to become Saul Goodman after two seasons and 20 episodes of “Better Call Saul” on AMC.
He has been through a lot of ordeals and dilemma during the past two seasons, that he often stops to do some soul-searching and decide on what he really wanted to do, indicating that Jimmy is starting his metamorphosis into Saul.
Apart from the situations happening around him, it seems that his big brother Chuck, played by Michael McKean, shall also contribute to his transformation into Saul Goodman.
