Essential in Jimmy’s transformation into Saul
In addition to Chuck McGill, played by Michael McKean, and his scheming ways against his brother, Vince Gilligan said that Gus Fring is very essential also in the transformation of Jimmy McGill into Saul Goodman, notes Mobile & Apps.
It would be very interesting on how Gus Fring would figure into the transformation of Jimmy into Saul although fans of “Breaking Bad” certainly have an inkling of that already.
Gilligan said that Gus Fring would not immediately appear in the early goings of Season 3 of “Better Call Saul” but towards the latter part.
Fans have already speculated that it was Gus Fring who put the note on the windshield of Mike during the Season 2 finale.
Gilligan pointed out that based on “Breaking Bad,” Gus Fring is a man of great resources and is very much a long-term planner and he has some very skilled and cold-blooded folks working for him. The note on Mike’s windshield could have been put there by people working for Gus Fring but not him personally.
AMC has yet to announce the official return of Gus Fring and the premiere of “Better Call Saul” Season 3 but it is likely to happen in February next year, similar to the release date of the first two seasons of the “Breaking Bad” prequel series.
