The 2016 Subaru WRX is one of today’s performance sedans that has been drawing good attention from motoring enthusiasts especially those who are inclined to sports cars.

Barber says the 2016 Subaru WRX is absolutely sublime. It has a much more responsive suspension set-up than its predecessor models and it also has the stiffest chassis to date. The performance sedan also has better fuel economy than the previous version and it has a throttle response time that is almost instantaneous, which is something rare for a turbocharged car.
As far as drawbacks are concerned, the front of the 2016 Subaru WRX looks very common and if it were not for the multi-port exhaust at its back, most people would pass it off as an ordinary commuter car. The vehicle’s advanced engine control technology makes turning rather tough. Another drawback is the continuing upward price of the base model every time a new edition is introduced.
Option to buyers
Subaru has also gave buyers of its 2016 WRX STI performance sedan a choice of whether to go big or small in terms of trunk spoiler design with no additional cost at all.
Buyers can opt for the big wing spoiler and have the large signature on the back that the WRX STI variant has been known for, or they can prefer to get the new low profile trunk spoiler.
The big signature wing of the Subaru WRX STI model is functional because it serves a very specific purpose. It keeps the rear wheels firmly planted on the ground when the sedan goes on high speeds. The faster the sedan goes, the more downforce it provides in the rear like the flap in an airplane as it touches down the runway and helps in slowing it down.
Some users think however that the big spoiler looks hideous and is often compared to a clothesline.
Possessing the big wing on the Subaru WRX STI also makes owners of the performance sedan a target for local law enforcers. Without the wing, it is easier for them to go undetected by cops as the STI would really look like a standard all-wheel drive Subaru sedan.
