What’s more, those who have preordered the new expansion are going to get it four days in advance, with early access starting on June 19. This should be a great opportunity to check out some of the new gameplay features before everyone else, and enjoy some online discussions about what’s changed since the last version. On the other hand, if there are any serious issues with the expansion’s gameplay, they should be ironed out before the 23rd when the final release occurs.
Square Enix have done a great job maintaining this franchise at a good quality level, as they seem to realize what their fans want to get from the game with each new installment. It says something when people continue buying the game after so many years, and we’re hopeful that it will remain a popular title for a long time too, as it definitely has more potential.
But then, there is no indication that the franchise will be stopped anytime soon, and we’ve been seeing various hints at the contrary throughout the last few months, both from Square Enix as well as from other sides.
