When the reboot of a classic ends up getting 1-star ratings across the board, something is obviously wrong. It’s clear that even major franchises like “Star Wars” aren’t safe from such disaster, as the release of the latest film in that series was met with somewhat mixed reviews.
“Ben-Hur” could actually have a positive impact on the industry, according to some. It could end up being the tipping point for some studios to realize that they have to change their production style if they want to survive nowadays.
