‘Beauty and the Beast’ Star Emma Watson Reveals She was Offered to Play as Cinderella in the Live-Action Remake But Declined!

She also believes that the dress is crucial in the romantic dance scene featuring the music that started with ‘Tale as old as time …’ which tells the story of Belle and the Beast falling in love despite their differences.

According to Costume Designer Jacqueline Duran, she had to test the fabrics of Belle’s gown multiple times in the camera to match the color that was seen in the classic animated film.

She also skipped on putting a corset in the gown since Belle is an active princess and does a lot of movement. The dress had to be light and so she would find it easier to move.

Watson commended Duran’s job in the costume for Belle and believed she made it perfect.

Joining Watson in the film is Dan Stevens who will get to play the role of the Beast in a castle where they shall eventually fell in love with each other.

In the story, Stevens was a prince who was cursed to be a beast due to his past evil deeds and is now paying for what he did.

Steven was best known for portraying the bad-ass main character in 2014’s action-thriller film titled “The Guest” directed by the “Blair Witch” film director, Adam Wingard.

Other stars of “Beauty and the Beast” are Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Ewan McGregor, and Emma Thompson. The movie will hit theaters on March 17.
