Every passionate fan of the Disney classic movie must be waiting for the release of Beauty and the Beast, as the release of the movie comes closer each day. Fans can’t wait to find out how this live-action rendition of the very popular Disney classic is going to unfold.
This classic has gone through numerous adaptations throughout the ages since its inception. Beauty and the Beast have been exhibited, sometimes in the form of TV shows, other times it has been depicted as musicals or as animated films even.
This, latest version, however, features, the Downtown Abbey star Dan Stevens, in the character of the Beast, while playing the part of Belle, is one of the HarryPotter franchise star, Emma Watson.
Emma recently told Entertainment Weekly that she had seen the animated Disney classic Beauty and the Beast more than a few times. She told that she couldn’t even remember the number of times she has seen the film while in her childhood. She knew all the dialogues and the lyrics of the songs by heart when she was little.
She also revealed that that the current movie in which she stars will pursue a storyline slightly different from that of her childhood cartoon movie. However, it will still keep its roots tied to the story of the Beast and Belle.
Belle is an independent young woman, and she happened to meet the Beast one day while looking for her father. Belle’s father is Maurice, and he had gotten himself lost in the forest and stumbled into the Beast’s castle.
The Beast was an arrogant prince, who was cursed by an old woman whom he had refused to help given his arrogance. So, the old lady cursed him transforming him into this hideous beast who is forced to live as a recluse in his castle in the forest.
After Maurice had come into his castle. The Beast detained him, but Belle offered to swap his place and stay in the castle with the Beast for her father’s release. This is how the romance between the Beast and the Beauty springs into action, while she stays in his castle.
In the meantime, Emma Watson told Entertainment Weekly, in an isolated report, that in the animated film Beauty and the Beast, it is Belle’s father, with the inventing genes.
Watson shared that there never was much information at the beginning of the story as to why the character of Belle did not fit in. There was only one piece of detail about her that she liked books. Hence, a backstory was created for her, that she had invented washing the machine. While in the original story it was her father who is the inventor?
The backstory goes in this movie as, Belle invented the washing machine so at to get more time on her hands to be able to read. Like this, Belle the beauty was made by an inventor. It is also being said that there is going to be there is going to be a musical with songs from the animated movie Beauty and the Beast.
