Haley Bennett, Luke Evans co-star on the “Girl on the Train,” revealed that she and Evans also sang songs from “The Lion King” and “Beauty and the Beast” on the set to lighten the mood.
She said that they would put on little duets and that she is sad that Evans got to be in a musical in the upcoming “Beauty and the Beast” live-action movie while she has yet to get her own serving. But she did get to play a 1950s singer in the upcoming Warren Beatty film “Rules Don’t Apply.”
For his part, Evans would love to do more comedy films in the future because he says he likes smiling and laughing. He adds that he also likes making people laugh.
He explained that he got a bit of a bug when he did the Gaston character in “Beauty and the Beast” and he found out to be so much fun and he would not mind doing more of such in his career.
Evans also expressed excitement for people to see “Beauty and the Beast” not only because he is part of the movie but because he is sure that they would enjoy it since most fans are already aware of the plotline of the original animated film, which is almost a direct adaptation of the fairy tale, reports Collider.
