Game developer Visceral Games has announced early this month the second expansion pack of its first-person shooter video game “Battlefield Hardline” and it has surely excited and delighted gamers to almost to no end because of the vast new game content it will bring.

The second DLC pack officially titled “Robbery” will not just come with a new game feature which the first expansion pack to “Battlefield Hardline” also brought, it will also have plenty of things for avid players of the game to really enjoy and find excitement running after criminals in a big way.

“Robbery” will officially be released in September and shall bring forth four new maps including The Docks, Break Pointe, Museum, and Precinct 7, a Squad Heist gameplay mode, four new weapons, two new gadgets, two new team vehicles along with new vehicle upgrades, new camouflage skins, and vehicle paints, details Gamer Headlines.

The Squad Heist gameplay mode is actually patterned on a similar gameplay titled Squad Rush on “Battlefield 4.”

In the gameplay mode, criminals will use a drill to break into two vaults and shall then call a helicopter to a secure location and make their escape. Since there are four new maps, Squad Heist will have a different setup for each map.

Even this early, gamers are already very excited and can hardly wait to get their hands on “Robbery.”

First expansion pack

Visceral Games launched the first expansion pack of “Battlefield Hardline” on June 16 officially titled “Criminal Activity.”

“Criminal Activity” is the first of four DLCs that the game developer has lined up for release before “Battlefield Hardline” turns one year in March of 2016.

The new content came with a new game mode, several new maps and new weapons which gave all the right reasons to gamers and fans to be happy about the game and the developer for releasing an update that soon.

However, there have been reports from some gamers on the PlayStation 4 who purchased “Battlefield Hardline” Ultimate Edition that they cannot access the DLC a few days after it was released, notes Polygon.

The gamers posted their complaints on the game’s forum site and claimed that they can download the DLC alright, but the main game does not recognize the installation.

However, gamers who own the “Battlefield Hardline” Deluxe Edition on all platforms have no problems at all with the DLC. This comes as a surprise since the Ultimate Edition is priced nearly twice as much as the Deluxe Edition.

But a member of the development team from the game development company immediately addressed the concerns of gamers by saying that they are already looking at all the digital version of the game on the PS4 to ensure that everyone can download the “Battlefield Hardline” DLC just fine and install it and subsequent updates on their consoles with no hassle.

Less than two weeks after the release of the game’s first DLC, the update to the game called Patch 1.03 was released across all gaming platforms.
