“Battlefield Hardline” is a game that focuses on the war against crime. Unlike its military settings in past iterations of the franchise, the current game has the police Special Response Unit and criminals as the main factions of “Battlefield Hardline.”
Players have access to various military-grade weapons and vehicles including the Lenco BearCat and also get to use other standard police equipment such as lasers, pistols, and handcuffs, among others.
Game critics praised “Battlefield Hardline” for its multiplayer mode, its voice acting, and accessibility while blasting the game’s plot, stealth, and narrative.
The first DLC that came to the game combined with the subsequent patch gave players the opportunity to make a name for themselves as law enforcers in the fast-paced highly-destructible maps that are peppered with small-time criminal jobs.
After the release of “Robbery” in September, the third DLC for “Battlefield Hardline” officially titled “Getaway” will feature frantic and high-speed chases that shall immerse players deeper into the heist.
And finally, there is the fourth and last DLC which is called “Betrayal” set to be rolled out early next year which shall focus on gamers finding out who the rat is in their operation, to give the game an added drama.
