Battlefield Hardline was released just this March and already fans of the first-person shooter video game are calling for more content they can download and play. Video games have changed so much over the last twenty years, if you were a child when Nintendo came out, it is hard to believe. Back in the day, if you wanted new content to play, you were waiting for a brand new version of the video game to hit the stores so you could buy it.
Today, video games are so much more involved and when it comes to new content for the game, design studios are releasing downloadable content packs for gamers. The packs can include anything from new cosmetic things, new maps, weapons or even quests that you can play to extend the game passed what is originally put on the store shelves. Battlefield Hardline DLC has been released this week and it comes with plenty of things that will make you enjoy the video game even more.
Battlefield Hardline is published by Electronic Arts and can be played on the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows computers. Most of the Battlefield video games were centered around war and things like that, but Battlefield Hardline takes another approach and focuses on crime, with policing elements instead. Even though the game is just a few months old, it has been getting reviewed very well with an average rating of 7.5 out of 10 from most critics.
Since the Battlefield Hardline DLC pack was just released this week, the reviews are hard to find, but there are reports out there that chronicle what content comes with it. The latest came with a patch which was version 1.03 and that was released for all consoles and came labeled “Criminal Activity”. Once you have the new patch downloaded and installed you will quickly see that it comes with new maps, game mode and weapons. That is going to get plenty of attention from gamers that love the game, but the patch also brings bug fixes and other gameplay improvements.
The patch brings you four new maps, but what is going to be getting the most attention is the new player game mode. In this new mode, players get to select the bounty hunter option and play the game that way. The new maps for Backwoods, Black Friday, The Beat and Code Blue are available for the new game mode, but the weapons are where the fun is at. The patch brings with it five new weapons including the KSG-12 shotgun, FN FAL rifle, SG 510 rifle, nail gun and the M1A1 SMG for all classes. If that is not enough, you will be happy to know that is not all.
Battlefield: Hardline is Battlefield 4 with a paint job. Weaponry has the same feel, car driving has been moderately improved, and new gimmicks (such as a a grapple hook) has been added. Its story is sub-par at best, terrible if you’ve ever seen a single mediocre cop drama, its multiplayer is previous battlefield modes with slight alterations, with the exception of the car-driving mode, and its reduced scale fails to push its Frostbyte engine to its limits. The best thing that can be said about it is that Hardline’s launch was better than Battlefield 4’s. Paid DLC can’t change a flawed concept.
Stop playing if you feel that way i enjoy the game! Who are you and if you think it sh!t then make one better im out
@twitty95 Stop being so emotional over someone else opinion. All butt hurt over a person who has a RIGHT to say what he wants…
