Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice to Run for 151 Minutes, According to a German Site!

The superhero movie based on DC Comics “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is a little over three months from its release date on global theaters, but several European websites have already started selling tickets for the movie.

One of those sites is based in Germany, which even went out of its way to reveal the total running time for the upcoming Warner Bros movie.

The German site selling the tickets to the widely anticipated movie says that the film will run for 151 minutes or about two hours and 31 minutes long.

While Warner Bros has yet to officially confirm the running time of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” assuming the German site is accurate, the movie will be eight minutes longer than the “Man of Steel,” which had a running time of 143 minutes, notes Comic Book Resources.

“Man of Steel” was released in 2013 and it served as the prelude to “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” In fact, the movies have the same director in Zack Snyder and most of the actors in the first film are back in the upcoming movie.

Film analysts have mentioned however that for some reasons, movies can sometimes have different running times in European countries than they do in the US.

Will only do superhero character if its damn good

Hollywood A-list actor Matt Damon says that he is happy that his good friend Ben Affleck is satisfied with the results of his performance and the film itself, referring to “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

It was actually Matt Damon who revealed that Ben Affleck has seen the rough cut of the upcoming superhero movie and his friend is very pleased.

When asked if he is willing to do a superhero movie, Matt said that he lacks the superheroism that other actors have, although his role in the “Bourne Identity” series can easily be passed off as a hero movie, though not of the superhero kind, notes Cinema Blend.

Damon’s latest statement actually contradicts what he said during his previous interview when he said that he would like to take on the role of the Daredevil, despite how negatively Ben Affleck made a rendition of the Marvel superhero whose alter ego is the blind Matt Murdock.

Matt Damon said that he was open to playing the man without fear in a big screen adaptation but only if the right director is involved or the movie is that damn good. He actually hinted that he would be interested in taking on the project if the director would be Christopher Nolan. Nolan directed “The Dark Knight” trilogy and “Inception” starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Everyone knows that Matt Damon is a filmmaker in his own right. He and Ben Affleck were acclaimed for their screenwriting and acting works in “Good Will Hunting” shown in 1997. The friends know quality films when they see them, which both validates Damon’s superhero intentions, and speaks a lot for the potentials that “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” have.

Three against one

Meanwhile, when the smoke clears after the battle of Batman and Superman in the upcoming movie “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” the two DC superheroes will patch things up and face a common nemesis.

Apart from working together to eventually battle Lex Luthor, the superhero duo will also face one of Superman’s deadliest foes known as Doomsday.

Accordingly, Superman and Batman along with Princess Diana, also known as Wonder Woman, will be facing off against Doomsday in the movie.

It was actually Director Zack Snyder who confirmed the presence of Doomsday on “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” when he recently gave new details on the creature’s origin on a French publication.
