While the British actor does not reveal who will be his love interest in the upcoming film, he gamely gushes that while Diana Prince a.k.a. Wonder Woman is capable of having a relationship with Superman because they know how it feels to be superheroes, Lane provides Superman humanity and keeps his character down to earth.
Bruce Wayne himself is also doing well, role reprisal-wise. IBTimes reports that Warner Bros has approved three standalone Batman movies with Ben Affleck in the lead role. This comes after studio executives watched “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” at a private screening and praised his performance.
The movie will bring Wonder Woman to the big screen for the first time and Warner Bros has already announced a standalone movie for the heroine which will be released in 2017 with Gal Gadot reprising her role in the upcoming film. A separate movie for Arthur Curry a.k.a. Aquaman is also planned for a 2018 release with Jason Momoa reprising the role of the King of Atlantis.
Snyder will also be helming a two-part “Justice League” movie that will feature all the “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” stars including Cavill, Affleck, Gadot, Momoa, Fisher who will all be reprising their superhero roles. The two-part “Justice League” film is scheduled to be released in 2017 and 2019.
I hope Batman kicks his ass so badly that there will be no reason to make a Man of Steel 2.
