Previous reports about Cyborg seem inaccurate. Robin, the Boy Wonder partner of Batman, will only appear in flashback because he seems to be already dead in the movie. Jena Malone as the female Robin in the upcoming movie is still unclear.
In a recent interview, producer Charles Rovan said that he does not think that “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is overstuffed.
Right from the onset, he said that the film shall revolve primarily on Batman and Superman and their conflict, which shall then lead to the formation of the Justice League.
He also added that the other superhero characters will be there to spice things up, but he said that viewers will find them interesting and will want to see more of them, which is where their respective solo films will come into play.
Reports have it that Wonder Woman will eventually have her own film, and so is Aquaman. The Flash already has his own TV series in The CW network, but a solo film may also be forthcoming.
Rovan explained that one of the things that they are doing when they decided to bring together the DC Justice League universe is to create not only stories that work for the individual film but shall also have some resonance or connection with the other films in the franchise.
He adds that one of the great things about dealing with superheroes, in general, is they are both inspiration and aspirational characters.
