Meanwhile, actor Michael Shannon revealed a surprise to fans when he said that while the corpse of his character General Zod was shown during the full-length trailer of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” he was hardly in the film at all.
In a recent interview, the actor disclosed that he finds it really awkward that he was in the trailer for a movie that he did not work on.
He later on explained that his part in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is similar to Russell Crowe’s role in “Man of Steel.” It can be recalled that Crowe as Jor-El was resurrected in the movie via holographic technology that allows his consciousness to live on.
Shannon went on to explain that the thing about the whole Krypton universe is that even when they are destroyed, there are ghosts. He said that he went over during the production of the movie and did some voice-over stuff and make that ghost thing.
He also clarified that during his previous interview about his character General Zod having flippers for hands, he was just joking then and was just making that up but he was shocked that people took it seriously and made a ridiculous story out of it.
