Batman: Return to Arkham Scores Moderately Good Reviews, Critics Disappointed by Performance!

It’s actually worrying for some of the studio’s fans that their newest release comes with such issues, as it was previously assumed that their last problem was a one-time situation. Now, however, some players are starting to see a trend, and this can affect future sales as well.

We shouldn’t jump to dramatic conclusions though. At least not when a remaster is involved, as those often tend to pose some special technical challenges of their own. Once an actual new release has arrived, then we can judge whether there really is a possible problem in the overall workflow behind the scenes.

For now, players should just enjoy the new collection for what it offers, and those who feel more affected by the performance issues should probably keep their eyes and ears open for a patch.

Some have been arguing over the changes that were made to some gameplay elements, but the general consensus is that it all works out when put together. It’s true that the gameplay is not a carbon copy of the original, but the changes that were made actually make perfect sense in light of how the industry has progressed since the original games came out.

It’s mostly about refining the experience. And of course, hardly anyone would disagree that those changes should be carried over into the future, as other games in that genre could definitely benefit from those developments too.
