Because of the disappointing combat along with a redundant mission structure, it actually took out the joy in using and driving the iconic vehicle. When Gotham was finally safe, many of the gamers were already ready to ditch the Batmobile altogether.
“Batman: Arkham Knight” has been a phenomenal video game. With the way the developer and publisher continue to introduce new DLCs and updates, they certainly want gamer interest on the video game to remain consistently high.
The video game is based on the franchise’s long-running comic book mythology. It is set one year after the event of “Batman: Arkham City” released in 2011. The game’s main storyline follows the Caped Crusader as he confronts the Scarecrow, who has launched an attack on Gotham City, causing widespread panic and city-wide evacuation.
Aided by the mysterious Arkham Knight, Scarecrow unites Batman’s greatest foes in a plot to finally put an end to the Caped Crusader.
“Batman: Arkham Knight” is presented from a third-person perspective, with the main focus on Batman’s combat and stealth abilities, detective skills, and gadgets that can be used in both crime fighting and exploration.
The video game also features the Batmobile as a playable vehicle, which can be used for both transportation and combat. “Batman: Arkham Knight” expands the Caped Crusader’s arsenal of gadgets and combat attacks and offers a more open-world structure, allowing the player to complete side missions away from the storyline.
