Batman: Arkham Knight was just released this June by Rocksteady Studios it is based on the DC Comics Batman. This is the fourth installment to the Arkham series and is one that is getting rave reviews. Some of thing aspects that got high ratings included the narrative, gameplay, combat, visuals and the over all world design.
The one thing that was reviewed in a negative light was the fact that the game was putting too much emphasis on the Batmobile. Besides that, the game plays well on the consoles, but the Windows version was criticized for having performance issues and that caused Warner Bros. to take it off store shelves.
The complaints were coming in faster than they could be managed and they were from gamers that have high end hardware that should be able to play a game like Batman: Arkham Knight on any Windows machine. Since the game has only been available since June, it is surprising to see so many downloadable content packs, but that is keeping gamers very happy.
