Batman: Arkham Knight DLC Gets Mediocre Responses, PC Version Issues to Be Addressed in September!

Instead, now they’ll have to put even more effort into marketing the game once it’s re-released on the PC, as players will be skeptical about it, and the game will fully deserve this kind of attitude.

We don’t know if the new release is actually going to address the majority of issues surrounding the title in its original state, but in any case, this whole situation should serve as a pretty big warning sign to any developers or studios planning to rush a title to meet some deadline.

It’s been said time and time again that this is a bad idea, and in some cases, we even get proof of that. It’s becoming a pretty well-established truth in the industry at this point. Players might be disappointed when they hear a delay being announced, but it definitely beats the near-permanent negativity that comes with a poor release.

Maybe that’s why companies like Valve prefer to delay their projects for years, instead of succumbing to the public pressure – they realize that they don’t have anything worth releasing now, and don’t see a reason to rush a release as important as that. Hopefully the next “Batman” game is going to follow a similar trend, though at this point, the damage may have already been done.
