With most smartphone manufacturers tending towards the development of wearable devices, we were wondering how long Apple would take in order to make a response. Apple unveiled its first entry into the wearable devices market, back in September 2014, with their Apple Watch. During the Apple event on September 9, when the world got the first glimpse of iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, Apple also unveiled the Apple Watch.

Like most Apple devices, it is yet to be dubbed as ‘iWatch’. It is an Apple-made smart watch that comes with various features like a new dial, known as the crown, a sapphire display and proper integration with Siri and iCloud. Presently, a lot of speculation regarding features, several leaked images and much other stuff regarding the Apple Watch is making rounds on the internet.

These included the iPod, iPhone, Mac and iPad among others. He stated that Apple will again capture the world’s attention with a device that has the capability to greatly enrich the lives of its users. He further commented that the Apple Watch is the most personal device they have ever made.

Meanwhile, on Monday, Mobile ad exchange TapSense, officially announced the first ever ad platform for the Apple Watch. All the advertisements and content will be displayed on the Apple Watch screen, the first ever wearable device from the Cupertino-based giant. The ad platform from TapSense will work in an intuitive manner. It will make use of the GPS feature in the iPhone to deliver coupons from a local store and various appropriate local offers, right to your Apple Watch display.

Like most conventional watches, the Apple Watch will have a dial on the side that is known as a ‘crown’. The digital crown works in an amazing manner to transform movement into data by making use of well-placed sensors. As a result, it seems like the crown will be the primary maneuvering device in the watch, rather than the display itself.
