Caroline and Damon might have to face some difficult times in the upcoming episodes of “The Vampire Diaries”, as it appears that the producers of the show are planning some serious events for the characters. Episode 15 already introduced some dramatic developments to the plot, and now it seems that some of those will be expanded even further in the upcoming episodes.
Bonnie made her way to Mystic Falls in the present time, while Caroline is going through some personality changes, and Damon has to deal with the truth that his mother is imprisoned in her current world. A lot of these developments will be addressed in episode 16, and its title gives a little hint about what kind of direction we can expect to see the story turning in.
“The Downward Spiral” will see Caroline coming up to her friends and presenting them with an ultimatum, something which comes as a surprise to the gang and none of them are prepared with a response to it. Caroline is losing a grip on her humanity, and this seems quite worrying to Stephan, who is questioning her behavior more and more. He even tries to jump in but this actually blows up in his face and starts a series of unusual events which are potentially going to have an impact on future episodes for some time to come.
Elena and Stephan then have to take care of Caroline, while Damon goes to Kai to look for answers. However, he doesn’t like what he hears from him at all, as he’s given some information about Lily that comes as a complete shock to him and puts him in an awkward situation. It would be curious to see where that particular side of the story goes, and some have speculated that his mother may have found a way to escape from her current imprisonment.
Last but not least, we have Bonnie continuing to struggle with the idea of adapting to modern day life after she got back to Mystic Falls. Her stay in 1994 lasted for more than half a year, leading her to eventually try to commit suicide, so it’s quite understandable why she would find it so difficult to readjust to modern life.
The producers of the show have actually specifically talked about Bonnie’s situation, confirming that they are going to put the character through some serious difficulties as she’s trying to readjust to normal life – although in the end we’ll probably still see her returning to her “normal” self and making the most from her situation. How many episodes this will take, we don’t know – and the producers could certainly decide to drag it out for a while.
OK so I don’t approve of what is happening. Stephan and Elena are together agian. I think that Damon shouldn’t go and investigate. I think that Stephan should. I love T.V.D so much. I love all the charicters. I mostly love Stephan and Elena’s bond. I live the way Damon and Bonny love each other and never got rid of each other. They love each other very much. I am personly a team Stephan kind of girl. That’s my opinion on what is happening
No Damon should investigate because he actually saw his mother first and plus Damon doesn’t want to hurt Stefan’s feelings about his mother not being dead after years and years of mourning her, and the only reason why Stefan and Elena are together is to help Caroline who shut of her emotions due to her mother dying they are just trying to help her move on in her life.
