President Donald Trump’s executive decision to ban Muslim immigrants from seven countries from entering the United States of America did start a large number of protests and marches. Massive demonstrations were organized to showcase love and solidarity.
Ever since the Women’s March, many celebrities have come out to take stands against the President and have stirred the sentiments of the people. Rihanna was the latest celebrity to speak about President Trump’s order and said that it was disgusting and a devastating news and that America was getting ruined in front of everyone’s eyes.
While many supported her tweet and rallied against Trump, Azealia Banks wasn’t very happy with Rihanna’s tweet, and things became nasty between the two subsequently. Azealia responded to Rihanna’s tweet by stating that the Umbrella singer and all the other celebrities were using their popularity to sway the public.
Azealia claimed that everyone should simply shut up and stay calm. They should stop chastising the president since it is pathetic and stupid to watch. She went on to add that these only further confuse the confused public.
Azealia went on to add that Rihanna wasn’t a citizen of the US and she doesn’t have the right to vote in the country. According to The Sun, Azealia Banks and Rihanna got into a heated argument on Twitter, when Banks went a step further and added a screenshot of what looked like Rihanna’s number of the social media.
She asked her fans to go ahead and bomb the number with calls. E! Online reported that the number has since then been disconnected and Azealia Banks has also removed the screenshot. Rihanna initially sent a pout kiss to Azealia after she lashed out at her over the tweet, but when Banks refused to back down, she was in for the fight as well.
Banks attacked Rihanna viciously and made things quite nasty, but RiRi didn’t lose her dignity. She continued to hit back but in a dignified fashion. Azealia Banks has removed all the photos and videos that she had uploaded.
Banks is more popular because of her constant spats with other celebrities than for her music. She had first become famous after her tirade against Zayn Malik on Twitter. She had attacked the singer in the most vicious manner and hurled several racial and homophobic messages at Malik.
Following this incident, Bank was even blocked from Twitter because of using excessive, abusive languages. She had responded to the attacks from Malik’s fans by saying that she was tired of people’s sentiments and feelings.
She even expressed her hatred at having people watch and judge her every move and for being asked to behave in a particular fashion. Banks then came forward to send her deepest apologies. She apologized for the sexual and racial slurs hurled at specific individuals and groups.
Banks hasn’t been on the music circuit for a long time, but while responding to one of the tweets from Rihanna’s fans, she spoke about having a record deal and an A&R job. The news had baffled many since they couldn’t understand how someone could give Azealia Banks a new record when she was already struggling with her current one.
All HipHop reported that Banks might have made a false claim and she had bagged any new contract or A&R job.
