Avengers: Infinity Wars Part 1 might Come Out without Joss Whedon in the Directing Seat!

There is some serious activity on the Marvel cinematic front, and fans are currently waiting for “Captain America: Civil War”, which is supposed to come out next year. There will likely be various exciting plot developments in the new film and it could even set some trends for the future of the franchise, and fans are particularly interested about “Avengers: Infinity Wars”, which will be produced and released in two parts.

However, there might be some changes in the crew behind the film that could reflect negatively on the way fans perceive it. The most important change that’s been rumored recently is that Joss Whedon might be looking to get out from the franchise at this point, and he might not be coming back to direct the new film in its two parts.

According to an interview he gave earlier, the main issue he has with directing these films is the sheer difficulty of it all. He realizes that a lot of work goes into those films and fans also have some serious expectations for them which he has to live up to, which of course makes matters even more complicated for the director.

On the other hand, he’s apparently also feeling disappointed about not having an opportunity to work on films that are entirely his own – it’s true that his time has been eaten up by his work on Marvel’s productions quite a lot, and we can definitely understand where he’s coming from with this if he wants to focus on his own films for the time being.

Indeed, if he takes on this project as well, it would mean investing at least a couple more years into it and that’s something he might not have the strength for at this point if his mind is also wandering around ideas for his own personal projects. This is not an uncommon issue with people involved in the creative world, and it’s important to understand that motivation can quickly be drained when a person is forced to put their creativity to use for someone else’s ideas.

Meanwhile, work on “Infinity Wars” seems to be coming along nicely, at least on the planning end, as the film is expected to see various prominent actors reprising their roles as their respective heroes, and fans are also going to see some prominent villains from the Marvel Universe depicted in this film too.

Josh Brolin in particular seems quite fond of the idea of playing the main antagonist of the film, although details about his role are still sketchy, apparently even to the actor himself as he’s not quite aware of where things are headed. In an interview, he claimed to see the general big picture with regards to the film’s production, but he doesn’t have a good idea about where his own character is headed or how he might be featured. But of course, that’s probably part of the fun for an actor like him involved in a production of this scale.

secrets and lies

But from the way he spoke about his upcoming role, he does seem quite motivated to give it his best and to truly shine on the screen as the biggest, baddest villain that fans have seen in a Marvel film recently. We can only hope that the producers will give his character sufficient spotlight focus in order to let him truly explore the finer nuances of his evilness, although we really have no doubt that we’re going to see something pretty solid on this front.
