Joss Whedon had warned the fans that Avengers 2 Age of Ultron will have numerous deaths. Fans were prepared for the super heroes fighting, but they weren’t prepared to see their heroes get such a massive beating. The leaked trailer of Avengers 2 Age of Ultron created a huge uproar on the internet.
Avengers 2: Age of Ultron is a dark film that places the super heroes against all odds. The plot revolves around Ultron – robots that were created by Tony Stark a.k.a Iron Man. Ultron was created to aid the Avengers in their missions, but they turn rogue and become a huge threat to humanity.
Kevin Feige, Marvel Studio’s President, said that Avengers 2 will borrow the tag ‘Age of Ultron’ from the comic series bearing the same name, but the film will have a different storyline. With Tony Stark being the creator of Ultron, there is some uneasiness in the team, with suspicions rising. The Avengers no longer consider Tony Stark to be a fitting leader and look to have him replaced.
The trailer revealed at the New York and San Diego Comic Con, shows the Hulk fighting with different members of the Avengers. The San Diego trailer showed Iron Man in action against the Hulk while the New York trailer also added Vision in the fight. At the end of the trailer, the Avengers are shown scattered on a hill while Iron Man gazes up at something. The shattered shield of Captain America is portrayed as the backdrop.
There have been numerous wild reactions from the fan base, as the trailer of Age of Ultron hints at the possible demise of Captain America. A recent trailer has Celine Dion’s rendition of My Heart Will Go On. The trailer was already an emotional one for avid fans and now with Dion singing this heart melting number in the background, it’s become even more moving.
There is a huge hype surrounding the portrayal of the Civil War in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. This could be the last time that the Avengers assemble, and numerous websites and magazines have sprung into action in speculating the future of their superheroes.
Those who are well-versed in the comic know that the Civil War results in a massive catastrophe for all our superheroes. Captain America and Iron Man were always at loggerheads and with the Ultron fiasco in Avengers 2 the two are not hiding their emotions. It seems that they will end up dividing the Avengers into two separate teams.
