As for Stephen Lang, Cameron said that the actor was so memorable in the first film. He said that he does want to reveal exactly how they intend to bring him back but “Avatar” is a science-fiction story so it is very much possible. He added that Stephen’s character will evolve into really unexpected places across the arc of the next three “Avatar” films. Cameron also said that Lang is such a gifted actor and also a good friend of his.
Since “Avatar 2” has been confirmed for a release date of December 25, 2017, there have been plenty of speculations going around regarding the possible plotlines for the movie.
One of the more interesting rumors is that Neytiri, played by Zoe Saldana, would have children in the upcoming sequel.
It also follows that the father of Neytiri’s children is Jake Sully, played by Sam Worthington. That’s a good plotline because Jake and Neytiri would work not just on protecting their tribe but also their family.
There were rumors also that Pandora will have a prison theme. It was actually Goksan Ozman, the movie’s artist, who dropped such hint, but an official word about it has yet to come from James Cameron.
