Just a few months ago, fans of Austin Mahone and Becky G were in high heavens knowing that their music idols were on a romantic relationship after rounds of teasing regarding the true state of their affairs on social media.
As fast as their relationship started, it has also ended on the same pace as the two music celebrities decided to call it quits recently, which left both of their fans devastated.
While the pair looked so in love when they were still dating, it was obviously a tough situation for both of them, reports Hollywood Life.
It was Becky G who took to Twitter to share her feelings about her short-lived romance with Austin Mahone. The 18-year-old songstress disclosed that the break-up has caused plenty of stressful time for her but assured her fans that she is fine and will be back to herself soon.
Although she was obviously struggling to cope up with the split, she expressed excitement about what’s to come for her life and her career. She said that she’s fine and that she’s happy to announce that she is going on a concert tour soon.
Hint of the split
When a few weeks went by without a social media post by either Austin or Becky regarding the going-ons on their relationship, people have started speculating that something must be wrong.
Their haunches finally proved right when Austin posted a cryptic picture on Instagram on August 11 and captioned it by saying that his nose ring fell out, and it won’t go back in. He added that he guess that some things are just not meant to be.
It can be recalled that both Austin and Becky got matching nose rings while they were together, so it was obvious that the “Dirty Work” singer was alluding about his relationship with Becky G and not just the jewelry.
On that same day, Austin finally confirmed on Twist that he and his lady ended things without directly saying the name of Becky G. It is not clear what the cause of their break-up was but their fans are ever hopeful that they will get back together again sometime soon.
Reigniting the crash rumors
Meanwhile, Billboard has reported that Austin Mahone accidentally reignited the rumor that Kylie Jenner crashed the expensive Ferrari that her rapper-boyfriend Tyga gave her during her 18th birthday celebration recently.
Mahone attended Kylie’s birthday blowout celebration and during his appearance on the August 12 episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” he told Andy Cohen that he heard that Kylie crashed the Ferrari the very next day after getting the expensive sports car from her boyfriend. But Mahone clarified that that’s what he heard, which means that he was only basing on secondhand information and not based directly from Kylie.
But Kylie already clarified the reports when she said on Twitter that those crash speculations were just rumors and that it was not true, in response to a tweet by British singer Jake Quickenden.
Austin Mahone’s reputation as a pop sensation got another major boost when he recently released his latest single titled “Dirty Work.” The single, which would be the carrier track for Austin’s next album, is now all over local radio, being played like crazy.
The 19-year-old musician says that he is proud and happy that his fans love “Dirty Work.” His excitement also spills over to the upcoming release of his debut studio album soon, although he has not disclosed a specific release date yet.
Mahone broke into the music scene in 2012 and since then, his star and his popularity have been soaring to greater heights.
