After much speculation, the release date of the second season of the Japanese anime TV series “Attack on Titan” has been confirmed to happen in February 2017 although no exact date has been given out yet by the producers. At this time, fans of the anime are looking forward to the release of the first trailer of the TV series soon, if not sooner.
Latest reports have it that Season 2 of “Attack on Titan” shall be dealing more about the story before the apocalyptic world came to be and leading to the emergence of the Titans.
The first season of the anime TV series did not explain how the Titans came to be or why and how the surviving group of people is confined within the walls to avoid the Titans. That is precisely what Season 2 is going to answer when it finally unfolds in February next year.
With that premise of a plotline, Season 2 shall also be delving into the story of the Reiss family and how Historia Reiss, also known as Krista Lenz and the daughter of Rod Reiss, went on to join the Survey Corps.
