Or at least as close as possible to one another, as that would broaden the array of options that buyers have when they want to invest in the next ZenFone. Of course, we aren’t entirely sure what the differences in the variants will be, and in the end it could be something as simple as a single/dual SIM version.
But the important thing is that Asus have been making good progress with their developments and they have a solid position on the market right now which would be very difficult to undermine. Their competition is not light either, granted, but the company has been handling things relatively well so far.
If the phone does launch in the first half of this year, this should prove to be an interesting release, especially if we get both variants simultaneously.
Some fans of the company are already gearing up to get the device as soon as it launches based just on the specs that have been leaked above, and while it may be a bit unreasonable to prepare one’s wallet just from that information, it’s still interesting to think about how the phone might turn out if it does follow those specifications when it’s released.
